Is really fun I like it.
Skyrim, really?
I don’t get all the hype Skyrim is getting, game of the year and shit like that. Sure the world is great and i’m probably just taking it for granted (it’s a given at this point that Bethesda will create a great world) but the writing is just putrid. The main plot is nothingness, it starts cool and you think oh hey something might actually happen then nothing does and it is over. The side quests range from ok to putrid. You can do anything and be anyone. I made an Orc warrior who couldn’t sneak around Helen Keller and had no fucking magic talent whatsoever and yet by the end i’m running both the Thieves and the Mages guild. That’s a spoiler by the way. Every type of guild you join, you someone end up the leader because gosh darn it you are just so amazing. The Dark Brotherhood is such a cool idea but every member’s personality is summed up as “I like killing things, aren’t I evil? Killing is so cool I just love doing it isn’t that dark?” Just fucking garbage.
Good game but no where near anything great. A game you should play but not worth the full price I paid.
Quick Review: Heavy Rain
Took a bit to get into (the very first part of the game is really boring and predictable) but once it gets going it REALLY gets going. It really is a lot like a movie, has a great story (at least to play) and it does feel like the majority of the stuff you do matters and that there are a lot of different things you can change. I’ve only beaten it once though so I can’t say for sure. I borrowed the game but I will buy it when it goes on sale for $20.
Also it worked really well with the Move. It did take a bit to match the icons on the screen to what you have to do with the wand but when the action gets going you really get into it. There are a few odd choices though, where you really have to cramp the fuck out of your hand to hit all the buttons.
Overall:
9.3/10. Great game, defiantly worth playing. One of the reasons I love the Playstation.

I got the Michael Jackson dance game from the library, It’s actually pretty damn fun. Would probably get old if you bought it but I think it’s worth a rental if you give even little fucks about MJ.
